KDE 4 Alpha 2: Ya queda menos
Parece que cada vez tenemos mas cerca la próxima versión de KDE…
The KDE Community is happy to announce the immediate availability of the second alpha release of the K Desktop Environment. This release comes straight out of Glasgow, the largest city in Scotland where aKademy is currently taking place. Hundreds of KDE hackers are working like crazy to hunt down bugs, complete features for KDE 4.0 and sit together developing and finishing new and exciting applications for the new major version of the leading Free Desktop.
Si siguen con el roadmap previsto, tendremos la versión oficial de KDE 4.0 el 23 de Octubre del 2007, aunque no traerá prácticamente ninguna de las “features” que se irán incorporando en las siguientes releases…

¿Se espera algún cambio estético?, porque principalmente eso es lo que no me hace decantarme por KDE. Bueno, eso y que quizás tiene “demasiadas” posibilidades de configuración.

De momento solo se han visto partes aisladas, pero tiene muy buena pinta. Aunque para ver una evolución real de la serie 3.5.x a la 4 tendrán que pasar varias versiones.
